Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers use a hyaluronic acid gel injected to restore lost volume or refine contour in the lips, cheeks, jawline or nasolabial folds. This is a structural treatment rather than a hydrating one, which sets it apart from skin boosters and Profhilo, both of which improve skin quality without changing its shape.

Your practitioner uses a fine needle or cannula depending on the area, and numbing cream is offered beforehand. A session takes 30 to 45 minutes, and swelling or bruising is common for the first few days afterwards.

Results are visible immediately and settle fully over about two weeks, typically lasting 6 to 12 months depending on the area treated and how quickly your body metabolises the product. If you later want filler dissolved, that is something your practitioner can discuss with you too.

Dermal fillers are not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active cold sore or infection in the treatment area, or have certain autoimmune conditions, and we will discuss any previous filler before a top-up. Book a consultation and we will assess whether filler is the right choice for what you want to achieve.

Dermal filler treatments take place in a private room at each of our clinics. We keep sessions unhurried, talking you through your consultation and what to expect before we begin, and there is no expectation to commit to treatment until you understand what is involved.

FAQs

Am I suitable for this treatment?
Dermal fillers are not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active cold sore or infection in the treatment area, or have certain autoimmune conditions. This is not a complete list, so we will go through your medical history thoroughly at your consultation before recommending any treatment.
Can I return to work?
Yes, though visible swelling or bruising is possible for a few days, so plan accordingly if you have an event coming up.
When can I go to the gym?
Avoid for 24 to 48 hours, particularly heavy or head-down exercise.
How many sessions will I need?
Most clients need a single session, which we will review together at consultation.
How long do results last?
Results typically last 6 to 12 months depending on the area treated and how quickly your body metabolises the product.
How much does it cost?
Dermal fillers are a prescription-only treatment, so pricing is confirmed individually at your consultation once your practitioner has assessed the area and product needed. This lets us recommend the right amount for a natural result rather than quoting a fixed price in advance.

Treatment Information

The Team

Our practitioners are trained and qualified to administer dermal fillers at every clinic, and every session is covered by our clinic’s treatment insurance. We do not start a treatment until we are confident it is the right fit for you, which is why every course begins with a thorough consultation.

Consultation

Every dermal filler treatment starts with a consultation, where we assess the area, talk through your medical history and confirm filler is the right choice for what you want to achieve. Pricing and product are confirmed at this stage, before any treatment goes ahead.
