Skin Treatments

Chemical Peels

A chemical peel uses a solution to remove the outer, damaged layer of skin, encouraging fresh skin to form underneath. Depending on strength, it can reach into the upper dermis to soften scarring and pigmentation as well. We offer three formulations built around what you are trying to fix: Acne, Anti-ageing and Even Skin Tone, rather than one generic peel.

Your practitioner cleanses the skin, applies the solution and leaves it for a set time before neutralising it. Expect mild stinging or warmth during the 30 minute session, and some flaking over the following few days as the treated layer sheds.

Results and Suitability

A single session leaves skin visibly brighter within a week. For deeper concerns like scarring, pigmentation or fine lines, a course of 3 to 4 sessions, spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart, gives a more noticeable improvement. Chemical peels also combine well with RF Microneedling for added texture improvement.

Chemical peels are not suitable if you have an active cold sore, sunburned or broken skin, or have used isotretinoin recently, and stronger formulations are not used during pregnancy. Peel strength is adjusted to your skin type at consultation. Book a consultation and we will help you choose the right formulation for your concern.

Where You’ll Be Treated

Chemical peel treatments take place in a private room at each of our clinics. We keep sessions unhurried, talking you through your consultation and what to expect before we begin, and there is no expectation to commit to treatment until you understand what is involved.

Treatment Information

The Team

Our practitioners are trained and qualified to administer chemical peels at every clinic, and every session is covered by our clinic’s treatment insurance. We do not start a treatment until we are confident it is the right fit for you, which is why every course begins with a thorough consultation.

Consultation

Every chemical peel starts with a consultation, priced from £10, where we assess your skin, talk through your medical history and confirm the right formulation for your concern. If you go ahead with treatment on the day, the consultation fee is deducted from your first session.
