RF Needling

RF needling combines fine needles with radiofrequency energy to deliver heat directly into the deeper layers of the treatment area. That tightens existing collagen and triggers new collagen and elastin to form, a more targeted effect than microneedling alone and better suited to looser body skin than a topical treatment can reach.

Numbing cream is applied first, then the device is passed across the area in a grid pattern. Expect a warm, sharp sensation as the needles deliver energy. A session takes 30 to 60 minutes depending on the size of the area, with some redness for a day or two afterward.

Results and Suitability

A course of 3 to 4 sessions, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, gives the best result. Skin feels firmer within days of each session, with fuller tightening and texture improvement building over 2 to 3 months after the course. It is genuinely useful for stretch marks and looser post-pregnancy or post-weight-loss skin, in the same way RF Microneedling works for the face.

RF needling is not suitable during pregnancy, with an active skin infection, a tendency to keloid scarring, or a blood-clotting condition. Book a consultation and we will check whether this treatment is right for your skin.

Where You’ll Be Treated

RF needling treatments take place in a private room at each of our clinics. We keep sessions unhurried, talking you through your consultation and what to expect before we begin, and there is no expectation to commit to treatment until you understand what is involved.
