HIFU Body
HIFU body uses the same focused ultrasound technology as our facial treatments, delivered at a setting suited to thicker body skin and fat. Energy is directed beneath the surface to heat tissue, triggering collagen to contract immediately and rebuild over time, tightening loose skin on the abdomen, arms and thighs without surgery.
Gel is applied to the treatment area, then the device is passed across it in sections. Expect a warm sensation with occasional sharper moments as energy is delivered. A session takes 45 to 90 minutes depending on the size of the area, and there is no downtime afterward.
Initial tightening is visible within a few weeks, continuing to improve for up to 6 months as new collagen builds. Most areas need 1 to 2 sessions, reviewed at your consultation.
HIFU body is not suitable during pregnancy, with a pacemaker or other implanted device, or if you are planning significant weight change, it is best to wait until your weight is stable first. It suits skin that has lost some elasticity rather than an area still carrying excess fat, in which case Laser Lipolysis or EMS may be a better starting point.
